We recycle banana* trunks, an agricultural residue that is, at best, abandoned in the fields or, at worst, burned, creating atmospheric pollution.
(over a hundred million tonnes of logs are destroyed worldwide every year).

We participate in the development of the circular economy: the yarn is produced closé to the banana fields.

Our environmental impact in producing banana fiber is minimal: the little water used to extract the fiber is recycled in the fields. Energy consumption is low and no chemicals are used́ for its manufacture and the fiber molecule is not modified (unlike viscose).

The manufacturing process and washing of the textiles therefore have no impact on the ocean. All products are recyclable.
